Organization name: DAV Public SchoolDesignation: Trainee TeacherDuration: August 2019 to December 2019Key responsibilities: • Teaching students in a fun and interactive way using innovative activities and creative teaching aids such as flannel, flip books, flash cards, charts and games. • Not just teaching, during my internship was involved in several extra- curricular activities that took place in school. • Assisted in organizing special assemblies in school, actively contributed towards the arrangements for the annual day, assisted teachers in helping students practice for various events and activities that took place in school. • Conducted a project in school which aimed at educating women about menstrual hygiene. • Conducted an essay writing competition in school for students to sensitize them about the current environment issues and problems, during this competition I also tried to enhance student's critical thinking abilities by asking them to think of innovative yet pocket friendly ways of solving various environment issues.
