Assisting and advising clients in filing merger forms before the CCI.Preparing the clients for dawn raids conducted by the CCI.

The work and responsibility assigned to me in the Director General Office,CCI is to assist in conducting investigation after assignment of case to the Investigation Unit under Section 26 (1) of the Competition Act, 2002. Thisinvolves strategizing the scope and step by step method for collection and analysis of the evidence received which includes drafting of Notices forparties, working on the questionnaires issued to the parties, recording ofstatement, ensuring compliance with the Competition Act, Rules andregulation and Search and seizure. The work further involves framing ofissues for investigation in respect to the analysis of Section 26 (1) order of the Commission. The work includes drafting of the Investigation Reportincluding delineation of Relevant market, framing of issues and analysis of the evidence.In furtherance to the same since 2018, I have represented the DGoffice as legal expert in 5 Dawn Raids conducted since 2018 till 2020 in regard to the market of Beverages, Railway tenders and FCI tenders, Pulses and Cement. I have been closely working and assisting in the investigationand drafting of report for various matters in the market of Two wheelers,publishing agencies, four wheelers, real estate and Cartels in the Railwayprocurement Tenders since 2018.I have filed information in personal capacity before the CompetitionCommission of India for contraventions of Section 3 and 4 of the Act bycertain enterprises.

Have assisted and handled matters independently in regard to mattersrelated to PMLA and PC Act. Have assisted the counsel in matters such asCoal Scams and Bank Frauds, contravention of Secret Officials Act. Thework and responsibility included drafting of petitions, rejoinders, opinions and appearances before the Trial courts for matters.Have assisted the counsel in Criminal Appeals before the Delhi High Court and also independently dealt with Civil matters in regard to Eviction suitsand Summary suits, matters before NCDRC and state forums in regard tomatters related to deficiency in services.
